A big 'thank you' to all who came along to the 2022 General Meeting and Annual Dinner Weekend in the Lake District. We had a fantastic turnout, with 50+ attendees on Friday evening for the General Meeting and curry buffet.
Saturday delivered a truly stunning Lakeland day, where many of our members and guests managed to walk, scramble, climb or simply armchair mountaineer at the Kendal Mountain Festival.
The Annual Dinner saw 70+ members, friends and guests join together to dine, chat, celebrate the accomplishments of the year and steal each other's chairs...
We were delighted to be joined by BMC CEO, Paul Davies and his wife Rachel, RAF Central Fund Chief Operating Officer, Niki Graske and her partner Ben, Mountain Equipment Product & Marketing Director, Richard Talbot, as well as the professional Yorkshireman and climber Alan Hinkes OBE.
Next year will be our 75th anniversary, so we're planning to make it extra special. Why not put Friday 17th to Sunday 19th November 2023 in your diaries now! We'll let you know as soon as we've confirmed a venue and accommodation.
