As part of RAF100 and to mark the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice, RAFMA and the RAF Sports Climbing Team attempted to climb 1 foot for every casualty suffered by the RFC, RNAS and RAF during the First World War, being a total of 16,623ft. Heavily supported and funded by the Royal British Legion, founders of the Everyone Remembered campaign and huge contributers to the RAF Mountaineering Association, supplying kit and funding events for RAFMA to attend and compete at.
