Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure? Building on the success of our last two epic SNOW VENTURE expeditions, this winter RAFMA is heading deep into the heart of Central Asia for a unique ski touring and ski mountaineering expedition in the stunning Tian Shan (“Mountains of Heaven”).

About the Event
RAFMA's ski touring / ski mountaineering expedition for 2027 is now open for applicants. Building on last year's amazing exped to arctic Norway, this year the plan is to head to Kazakhstan and the Tian Shan mountain range for off the beaten track, truly adventurous winter exploration.
📍 Where: Kazakhstan's Tian Shan range – remote peaks, vast snowfields, and breath-taking alpine scenery
📅 When: 21 February to 7 March 2027.
🎿 What to Expect:
Challenging ski tours across pristine, untracked terrain. No lifts, no pistes and 800-1000m of ascent each day.
Nights spent in a combination of mountain huts, yurts, and basecamps under star-filled skies
