RAF Mountaineering Expedition - Ex ALPINE VENTURE 2024 (AV24)

We are now taking applications for RAFMA's Expedition ALPINE VENTURE 2024 (AV24). Please register here if you are interested in joining us in June of 2024 to experience the very best of the Swiss Alps. Expedition members will get the opportunity over the 14 days of the expedition to journey through the range, and summit 3,000+m mountains, including some 4,000+m summits. For those who want to experience the stunning scenery of the alps at a more comfortable altitude, there will also be an opportunity for some summer trekking at the mid-level routes, at the border at where the beautiful green meadows join the rocky bands, below the snow caps.

This is an ideal expedition to either begin your international mountain walking journey, with an introduction to altitude, or build on your existing mountaineering experience. If you're keen to get involved, can demonstrate you are reasonably fit, and are happy to make an estimated personal contribution of up to £900 (serving) and £1300 (non-serving members) for an approximately 14-day trip, start filling out the form. (Note: Be advised that costs are approximate, with a more detailed breakdown, available as planning matures.).
