The RAF Festival of Climbing 2026 kicks off with the RAF Climbing Championships. All abilities from novices to RAF team hopefuls welcome! The Festival will continue with an indoor training day on Friday and a weekend meet in the Peak District - see links below

About the Event
The first day of the 2026 RAFMA Festival of Climbing will be the annual climbing championships. Alongside showcasing competitive climbing the event aims to introduce novices to the sport and develop everyone's skills. There will be 5 competitor categories: Top Rope Novice, Top Rope Proficient, Female Open Lead, Men's U25 Lead and Men's Open Lead, and a self-scoring bouldering competition will
run alongside this. Prizes will be awarded to the top climbers and stations and the 2026 lead climbing team will be selected following the event!
